ahh! Grace that sunset is beautiful!! and Hannah I can't believe how fearless you are, your ability to go talk to random strangers like that amazes me :) I wanna see pictures!
We had our first South County Project event on Saturday, an end-of-school bash. It was incredible! Lake Hills has this amazing field the size of a football field, and it was there that we had five different inflatables, a golf cart obstacle course (the kids were allowed to drive-i was horrified lol), face painting, a big game area where they played kickball or dodgeball or some other kind of ball, and tons more I can't even think of now. Chick-fil-a donated 500 sandwiches, and we also had popcorn, chips, cotton candy, and sno-cones. I worked the sno-cone machine all day :) I'm thinking we should get one of those for the house!

Early in the day when we were setting up, it was pretty cloudy and reallllly windy (you should've seen us trying to set up despite the wind, pretty hilarious) and I was nervous that it was going to rain, but by the time the event started it was sunny and perfect. There ended up being about 500 people there, which was SO incredible!! I loved seeing all the little kids who were SO excited to get their sno-cones, and the parents were all so appreciative of what we were doing. My aunt, cousin, and her two daughters ended up coming, and they brought 2 other families, none of which are Christians, it was such a blessing! I am really praying that they saw a difference in what they experienced that day, and that they will be curious for more.

I didn't realize how exhausted I was until after the event was over, but it was so worth it. Everything turned out GREAT :)

I hope you guys are doing well and I can't wait to hear more stories!
Praying for you,
Jenna
